HK Timbers Limited was founded in 1968 in order to meet the emerging demand for wooden potato storage boxes. The present day company
is still owned and managed by the same family.
Over the years HK has developed a broad customer base, mainly within the United Kingdon but also abroad, to which a wide range of timber based products have been supplied.
Although the company continues to specialise in storage boxes, other timber based products such as packing cases, display units and pallets are manufactured.
The business has continually grown in order to meet its customers' needs but still remains fully involved in the complete manufacturing process, from the careful selection
and preparation of raw materials to the final assembly of the products.
HK is located just outside the town of Gainsborough in Lincolnshire and is situated close to both the A1 and the M62. This relatively central position provides easy access to the whole country for distribution purposes.
